My love for the body as a vehicle of self-expression and understanding arose naturally through an upbringing in dance and theatre. From a young age, movement was my doorway into feeling myself and my connection to a much larger mystery. But by the time I entered my teenage years, I was already plagued by chronic pain and the exhausting tendencies of perfectionism. My decades-long journey out of pain led me into the many layers of the body (physical, emotional, mental, energetic, spiritual) and a felt-sense experience that everything is connected.
Over the past 17 years working with clients, the modalities I am trained in and share today include somatic movement, nervous system education and regulation, Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises®, SourcePoint Therapy®, Clinical Somatics, embodiment practices, energy work, and spiritual inquiry. I weave together many of these practices through Somatic Healing & Coaching - a rich relationship that meets people where they are and addresses a wide variety of concerns and goals.

The body is not something to solve;
it is our greatest teacher, ally and companion.We are living in grossly out-of-balance times;
transforming ourselves and our culture must include the body.Our wholeness is forgotten by our separation from
our bodies, emotion, ancestry and our more-than-human kin;
we remember our wholeness through our communion with
all parts of ourselves and all beings.The body generally responds better to slow, titrated practices,
creating shifts overtime that are manageable and stick.Holding neutral, nonjudgemental space where I witness my clients’ wholeness
is a signature strength of mine that supports their process. -

“One of the most significant experiential learning experiences of my life”
I received 1:1 somatic healing and coaching from Carrie regularly for 6–8 months, and it remains one of the most significant experiential learning experiences of my life. The education, practices, and concepts she offered felt deeply connected to the core essence of being human, and created a fundamental shift in me that I continue to unpack, even years later.
Each session felt emergent, intuitive, and attuned to what was alive for me in the moment — a reflection of how deeply Carrie listens and senses what is truly present. The practices met me naturally, right where I was, in ways that felt both grounding and transformative. Carrie holds a nonjudgmental, spacious presence that opened my eyes to a more beautiful, clear, and supportive way of being.
With so many people exploring somatics these days, I can wholeheartedly say that Carrie is the real deal — deeply embodied in what she offers, thoroughly studied, and grounded in a diverse background of practice. I’m profoundly grateful for her grace, patience, wisdom, and care.
